N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE x KEEN UNEEK 360 Debuts in Steel Gray

N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE and KEEN have unveiled their first collaborative sneaker. The project reworks KEEN's open-air UNEEK 360 model, launching on September 12 for a retail price of ¥25,300 (approximately $165 USD).

The design philosophy is a direct translation from N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE's focus on formalwear. The line aims to bring dress-wear codes into contemporary easy wear. For this shoe, that approach manifests as extreme visual restraint and a focus on refined construction.

A Glue-Free, Minimalist Build

The collaboration fully embraces the UNEEK series' foundational concept of a shoe constructed primarily from cords and a sole. KEEN has implemented a build for this version that uses no adhesive. This reconstructs the silhouette around a minimal-waste logic.

The upper use recycled-plastic bungee cord, secured with a lace toggle, to lock the foot in place. Its shape is designed to leave room for the toes to splay. The brands state this aims for a fit that works across a wide range of feet.

Comfort and Sustainability Specs

Beyond the unique upper, the shoe's specification heavily emphasizes comfort and durability. Key components include arch support molded to the foot's shape, a light injection-foam midsole, and a foam insole with built-in arch support tuned for long-lasting cushioning. A high-traction foam outsole handles grip.

The entire shoe weighs 322 grams. Sustainability informs the material choices, featuring recycled PET-blended plastic to reduce virgin material use. A natural-origin Eco Anti-odor treatment is also applied.

The Steel Gray Colorway

N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE's editorial mark is most clear in the color palette. The collaboration is finished head to toe in a single, monochrome tone officially named Steel Gray. This gray is carried uniformly from the upper to the sole.

The only break in the color comes from a discreet N.HOOLYWOOD logo printed on the heel. This restrained palette allows the UNEEK 360's minimal structure to stand out. It positions the sneaker as a hybrid meant to cross between city streets and the outdoors.
