Asics Sportstyle unveiled two major footwear collaborations in August 2026, renewing its partnership with Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen and beginning a new one with the artist-founded tableware label Gohar World.

According to a round-up by Dazed, the collaborations were among the month's most coveted fashion link-ups. Both focus on reimagining specific Asics sneaker silhouettes.

Cecilie Bahnsen Returns

Cecilie Bahnsen has partnered with Asics Sportstyle for a second time. For this collaboration, the designer has reinterpreted the brand's GEL-KINETIC FR silhouette. She has applied her signature floral aesthetic to the sneaker.

The collaboration was announced in August, but the shoes are not scheduled for release until September 12, 2026.

A New Venture for Gohar World

Asics also started a new partnership with Gohar World in August. The tableware brand was founded by artist sisters Laila and Nadia Gohar. This marks the sisters' first foray into footwear design.

The collaboration introduces a new Asics silhouette called the GEL-DS TRAINER SP. Details on the specific design alterations were not provided in the source report.

Other August Collaborations

The Dazed round-up highlighted several other fashion collaborations from August 2026. While not all were footwear-focused, the list included notable sneaker and shoe releases.

Willy Chavarria released a capsule collection with UGG. It features four new shoe styles, all designed in black with chunky soles and metal buckles. The source described the collection as "the most leather daddy-inspired UGG we’ve ever seen."

Moncler teamed up with Clarks Originals. The collaboration modified Clarks shoes to include Moncler's Trailgrip Vibram outsole for mountain traction. The shoes are also waterproof.

Junya Watanabe's line, eYe Junya Watanabe Man, continued its work with The North Face. The partnership reinterpreted a mountain jacket and a signature bomber jacket, available at Dover Street Market.

The month also saw apparel collaborations from Stüssy with Always Do What You Should Do, Our Legacy Work Shop with Dickies, and a swimwear line from Nii HAi and Zara Larsson's brand Main Rose.

Asics Sportstyle had a notably busy month, securing two distinct designer partnerships that bring new floral and artistic perspectives to its technical sneaker models.
