Jordan Brand is bringing back the Air Jordan 8 'Chrome' with an updated fit and release date.

Air Jordan 8 'Chrome' Returns for Fall 2026

The Air Jordan 8 'Chrome' is set to make a comeback this fall, more than a decade after its last retro run. ## A Beloved Colorway Returns The Air Jordan 8 'Chrome' was first introduced in 2003 and quickly gained a dedicated following for its clean and versatile aesthetic. The shoe's original design featured a black nubuck upper paired with chrome hardware on the strap buckles and midsole. The 2026 reissue returns with a fit and shape crafted more accurately to the original mold. ## Updated Design and Features The 2026 reissue of the Air Jordan 8 'Chrome' features a premium black nubuck upper, chrome-colored hardware across the strap buckles and midsole, and shades of grey on the chenille tongue patch and mudguard accents. The silhouette retains its signature 1990s design cues, including classic crossover straps and perforated overlays across the upper. The monochrome execution pays homage to the original Air Jordan 8 model worn by Michael Jordan during his third consecutive NBA championship win in 1993. ## Release Details The Air Jordan 8 'Chrome' is set to release on August 29, 2026, for a retail price of $215 USD. The shoe will be available via select Jordan Brand stockists and Nike SNKRS.
